It is a known fact that most accidents today results from human errors, such as fast lane passage and large jerks and accelerations. On the other end the modern vehicle contains various sensors and measurements devices which can be hubed to. We have fabricated a real time device aimed to automatically alert about a dangerous driving.
The control system is a five sub-system assembly. (1) A Global Positioning System. (2) An acceleration gouge. (3) On board diagnostic system (OBD) (4) RF transmitter. (5) A General Packet Radio Service (GPRS).
GPS system was used as a basic tool for the logging, which provided position and velocity as well as course. The gouge was applied to measure extreme driving behaviors like turns, breaks and exceeded lane switching.
OBD system measures motor operation data such as load, fuel consumption. In order to alert near drivers an RF transmitter was used. alert is transmitted of course whenever a driver commits a dangerous maneuvers. GPRS transmited data to an internet server in order to (1) notify authorities whenever needed (2) identify traffic jams (3) provides technical information for car services provider.
